When I saw that ~gutz had uploaded this to his gallery, I immediately asked him if I could color it. The lineart's been sitting on the hard drive for about a week while I finished up some other gigs, but I finally had enough free time to color this last night.

To say that I'd watch this if it were an animated series is probably an understatement.

I'm a pretty hardcore Galactica geek. I honestly prefer Galactica over Star Wars, which is saying a lot since I love Star Wars. It's pretty common knowledge that I'd put out on the first date if someone gave me Galactica art, which probably makes Paul pretty happy that he sketched this for *grantgoboom and not me. I'd sell my first born to be involved on an official BSG product.

Sadly, being the BSG geek that I am, I've even come up with a storyline that would allow the show to continue as an animated series after they arrived at nuked Earth...

I did change the lineart just a little bit from Paul's original sketch. I added the tattoo to help sell the Starbuck character so she wouldn't be confused with just another chick with a BFG.

BSG has never had a gun like that. The Gun brings this piece way over the top because this is a modern retro show, it never aimed to be ultra sci fi with ultra high tech gadgets.
